Vet Shares Top 5 New Pet Products for Dogs and Cats
Dr. Adam Christman is a veterinarian who shares all kinds of pet related information across his social media platforms, and it's always very helpful. He recently attended the Western Verterinary Conference and shared his Top 5 favorite innovative new products for cats and dogs that he found while he was there.
He shared the video on Thursday, February 29th, and some of these products are really cool! From dental wipes for your pup's teeth to a product that helps with separation anxiety to even a 'smart' litter box, these products are going to be life changing for many pet parents!
Which was your favorite new find? While I don't have a cat, the 'smart' litter box seemed like a pretty smart idea! Dr. Christman's commenters were all over the place with their favorites, but it seemed clear that many people were interested in the DentaBliss product to help with teeth brushing. And I liked @Sp00ky Abby's comment, "Veterinary medicine is so spectacular and it just keeps getting better as technology progresses. Been thinking more and more about going back to school for my CVT license!"

Products Dr. Christman Recommends
There are some really cool products out there for pets! I thought I'd check out prices on the things the doctor recommended because I'm always curious about things cost. Dentabliss instead of actually brushing your pup's teeth seemed to have good reviews about $20 for 50 wipes, not too terribly expensive. But @Mejnoonah shared her experience, "I tried the finger mitts. One of my dogs has turned it into a game of snatch it off the finger and shake it like a dead animal". So maybe they don't work for everybody!
The Calmer Canine device is pricy - around $199. It also didn't get the best reviews on Amazon, many saying the device doesn't fit on properly. There were a couple of good reviews, but to be honest there were only 17 reviews total, which to me doesn't amount to enough to really know what people think about it.
I also looked up the Petivity Smart Litter Box System and didn't expect a price tag of $149.99 on Amazon, and that's on sale. It only has 76 reviews, but more than 60% of raters gave the litter box five-star reviews. Most negative reviews were due to technical issues or people who had more than one cat. If you only have one cat, it might be worth a shot.
There are so many awesome things out there to try if you have pets! One of the coolest things I've stumbled across on TikTok was this GuliGuli Hiibo robot - it allows you to talk to and see your pets, and it even dispenses treats to them! Genius!
