Is this very exposed $43 million estate ‘your jam?’ An ‘alien spaceship?’ Take a look

A gorgeous home that looks almost like it’s completely glass has landed on the real estate market in Water Mill, New York, for a whopping $43 million.

The eight-bedroom, 12-bathroom property consists of a primary residence and guest house on its own lot. The estate is considered a “contemporary architectural masterpiece by renowned architect Roger Ferris,” the listing on Douglas Elliman Real Estate says.

The picturesque windowed residence has an almost futuristic feel with a subtle grace thanks to its chic, alabaster exterior appeal.

“A gated entry leads to the dramatic steel frame modern home with 4 levels, walls of frameless structurally glazed glass units from Vitrocsa in Switzerland, stone terracing with machine polished concrete terrazzo by Concrete Collaborative, a rooftop terrace with outdoor kitchen and gardens,” the listing notes.

But the inside is a different world thanks to splashes of vibrant colors the decor casts. Features throughout the iridescent interior include:

  • “Oversized great room”

  • Fireplace

  • Media room

  • Chef’s kitchen

  • Wet bar

  • Gym

  • Elevator

The 12,407-square-foot estate was featured on Friday Night Zillow, a Twitter segment highlighting intriguing houses for sale, thanks to its prismatic appeal.

“I’ve never quite understood why rich people would want to live in a house that looks like a cross between a suburban office complex and an alien spaceship, but maybe this is your jam,” reporter Steven Dennis — who runs the segment — said of the home in a thread.

Dennis also focused on one bathroom in particular in the residence that seems to explode with color.

The listing is held by Enzo Morabito.
