Vanessa Hudgens Confirms Engagement to Her Boyfriend Cole Tucker
It's official. After days of speculation, High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens confirmed that she is engaged to MLB star Cole Tucker. On Thursday, February 9, the actress took to Instagram to confirm that she's headed down the aisle with Cole and to show off her dazzling diamond engagement ring.
Vanessa gushed about her big news in a two-picture carousel post with the caption, YES. We couldn't be happier." In the first pic from Vanessa's engagement recap, she puckered up for a kissy face pose and held up her ring finger while Cole smiled and wrapped his arms around her waist.
The second shot was all about Vanessa's emerald-cut engagement ring. She zoomed in on her new rock with the Eiffel Tower as the backdrop.
Vanessa's soon-to-be hubby followed suit, reposting the same carousel post and caption.
Hours before Vanessa confirmed her engagement, People released the first shots of Vanessa's ring. The outlet was the first to report on the couple's impending nuptials after a source revealed that Cole popped the question in late 2022.
Vanessa and Cole have been dating since 2020 after meeting on a Zoom meditation group call. During an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, Vanessa revealed that she made the first move after seeing Cole. "I get on the Zoom, and I'm like, Who is that?'" she said. "I found him, and we started talking," the actress continued.
During their relationship, the couple has taken to social media to showcase various moments from their time together and hit the red carpet together on multiple occasions.
