Vanderbilt women's basketball live score updates vs. LSU in SEC matchup

Vanderbilt women's basketball faces a tough task while trying to end a four-game losing skid: No. 12 LSU.

One of just two ranked teams on the Commodores' schedule, a win Thursday at Memorial Gymnasium would help Vanderbilt to get back on the right side of the NCAA Tournament bubble. That won't come easily, though, with LSU stars Angel Reese and Aneesah Morrow averaging a double-double.

LSU has two notable road losses to unranked teams in Auburn and Mississippi State. The Commodores have beaten both teams, so a win isn't out of the question. But Vanderbilt has struggled to hold onto leads late in games due to a lack of bench depth.

In order to stay in the game, the Commodores' bigs will need to find a way to shut down Morrow and Reese and the offense will need to rely on shooting threats like Iyana Moore and Justine Pissott to make 3-pointers.
