Congratulations, Valerie Bertinelli!

On April 19, the Daytime Emmy Awards announced that the star, 63,has been nominated for outstanding culinary host for her work on Valerie's Home Cooking. She's joined in the category by Lidia Bastianich, Emeril Lagasse, Eduardo Garcia, Sophia Roe, and Buddy Valastro. Bertinelli's now-canceled Food Network series has also been nominated for outstanding culinary series.

In two Instagram Stories posts Friday, the Indulgecookbook author celebrated the nominations, sharing screenshots of the Emmy's announcement along with the caption, "I am speechless!!"

Valerie's Home Cooking premiered on Food Network in 2015, featuring the actress and friends (including Betty White, Hoda Kotb and Mackenzie Phillips) as she modernized recipes passed down through her family before enjoying dinner with her guests. It ran for 14 seasons until 2023.

Food Network and its stars were honored with plenty of other nominations including Jet Tila in the outstanding daytime personality category and Guy Fieri's Guy's All-American Road Trip for outstanding travel, adventure and nature program.

Bertinelli's nominations come after the series was canceled in April 2023. At the time, the actress and host announced in an Instagram post that the 14th season of Valerie's Home Cooking would be its last, writing that she hoped Food Network "would change their minds" after they canceled the show last summer.

"I got some good news, and I got some bad news," Bertinelli said in a video. "The good news is that tomorrow at 12 noon on Food Network, the 14th season of Valerie's Home Cooking starts airing all-new episodes. The bad news is that it's its final season."

"Food Network canceled us last summer, I have no idea why. And I didn't say anything last summer because honestly, I was hoping they would change their mind. But they have not. So this is it, this is the final season," she said.
