Military members and their families are eligible for exclusive discounts on travel at a number of destinations across the U.S. and the world. For example, service members can book hotels, flights, cars, travel packages, cruises and more via American Forces Travel to receive up to 60% off at over 1.2 million participating hotels, as well as other military discounts. And there are some resorts that cater exclusively to military members and their families -- including the Shades of Green Resort at Walt Disney World.

Armed Forces Vacation Club & Veterans Holidays

The Armed Forces Vacation Club is open to all eligible members of the U.S. military while Veterans Holidays is open to all eligible veterans. Club membership to both is free and gives military families access to seven-day R&R vacations, with prices starting at just $379 for a week-long getaway.

The deal is currently available at hotels in a number of locations -- both in the U.S. and abroad -- including the Bahamas, Austria, Greece, Argentina and the Canary Islands.
