UW's Crum, Gibbs accept invites to NFL Combine

Feb. 16—Offensive tackle Frank Crum and linebacker Easton Gibbs will represent the University of Wyoming at this year's NFL Combine.

The pair accepted invites to the event that will take place Feb. 29-March 3 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. It marks the first time since 2017 (Chase Roullier and Brian Hill) the Cowboys had two players represent the program in the combine.

The combine is a pivotal step in an NFL Draft prospect's journey. The event provides an opportunity for fans and NFL scouts to witness the future talent before the NFL Draft in April.

Crum recently completed his sixth season at UW. A Laramie native, Crum started 48 games and appeared in a total of 55. He played right tackle for the majority of his college career before moving to left tackle for his final season.

Crum earned numerous awards during his career, including first team All-Mountain West honors in 2023 and third team All-MW honors from Pro Football Focus in 2022.

Gibbs concluded his UW career ranked No. 8 in school history in total tackles with 362. He finished the 2023 season ranked No. 13 among all active Football Bowl Subdivision players in total tackles.

Gibbs was named first team All-MW in each of the past two seasons.
