UW secures commitment from a New Jersey outside linebacker for its 2025 class
MADISON – Wisconsin coach Luke Fickell and his staff received UW’s eighth oral commitment for the 2025 class on Monday.
Samuel Lateju, a 6-foot-5, 225-pound outside linebacker from New Jersey, announced his commitment via social media.

Lateju plays for The Lawrenceville School. He was teammates last season with 2024 UW signee Raphael Dunn.
Lateju reportedly held offers from West Virginia, Duke, Pittsburgh, Wake Forest, Syracuse and others.
