Is Usher going on tour? Past Super Bowl halftime show performers coming to Austin in 2024

Usher is returning to Las Vegas as Super Bowl 58's halftime show performer following a 100-show residency that dates back to 2022.

Both are bucket list items for Usher, who was born in Texas but grew up in Tennessee and Georgia. He told the BBC back in 2004 that he'd relish a Las Vegas residency and earlier this year said the chance to perform at the Super Bowl was "the honor of a lifetime."

"I can't wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they've seen from me before," Usher said.

Following the Super Bowl's halftime show, Usher is reportedly planning to launch a world tour, according to Billboard. Doing so would follow in the footsteps of Lady Gaga, who announced her Joanne World Tour after performing at the Super Bowl in 2017.

Whether Usher plans to come through Austin or not remains to be seen, but here's a look at which of the 24 past Super Bowl halftime performers do and do not have our city listed on their tour in 2024.
