MIAMI GARDENS - The Dolphins have some key injuries headed into a playoff game Saturday night game at the Chiefs.

Here is what coach Mike McDaniel said Thursday:

"Short weeks you really have to take it up to the end of the week clock," McDaniel said. "You want to press them enough, but not too much. You want to be able to forecast what's going to happen in the game as much as possible. You need to know the player has a reasonable chance to play the entire game. We haven't had any setbacks with Raheem Mostert or Jaylen Waddle so I am optimistic on both."

Safety Jevon Holland (knees): Questionable. McDaniel: "This is a game day decision based upon ambition to play and the training staff and the short week and that it's a playoff game all go into consideration."

Safety DeShon Elliott (calf): Questionable. McDaniel: "DeShon really pressed through that game last week. He isn't taking reps this week. But he is stubborn. I am optimistic. But he'll take all the time."

Running back Raheem Mostert (knee/ankle): Questionable. No setback. Optimistic.

Wide receiver Jaylen Waddle (ankle): Questionable: No setback. Optimistic.
