Unlocking the Archive: Regional Special Olympics held at Amanda-Clearcreek in 2004

This week's archive photo is from the Special Olympics in May 2004.

More than 300 volunteers, relatives and participants turned out for the 16th annual regional Special Olympics that year which was held at Amanda-Clearcreek High School.

According to the Eagle-Gazette archive, the event brought together participants from Fairfield, Franklin, Fayette, Pickaway, Licking, Delaware and Union counties.
