United High School’s annual Day of Memory will be 10 a.m. Saturday at a new location due to construction at the school.

This year’s event will be at the entrance to the football stadium, to the rear of the school.

Student Council sponsors the event as an opportunity for family and friends to come together and remember students who have been lost over the history of United Local Schools. These students have died before having the opportunity to graduate.

Following the short service, those in attendance will have an opportunity to plant a flower in remembrance of the loved one lost.

In the event of rain, the program will be canceled, but flowers will be available at the stadium entrance for planting for those who wish to stop by over the weekend.
