Union City girls track remains atop the Big 8, defeats Quincy in track rivalry

QUINCY - Last season, the Union City Charger girls track team came within mere points of winning a Big 8 conference title. This year, the Chargers still remain on track to possibly take that next step as Union City defeated rival Quincy on the road by the score of 87.7-54.33.

Union City took wins in 13 of the 18 events ran on the night, while many of Quincy’s points came thanks to a big effort in the field events.
