Undefeated Terry Sanford boys' tennis takes No. 2 seed heading into NCHSAA postseason

Regular-season boys' tennis has officially wrapped, and the NCHSAA Dual Team State Championship Playoffs are set to begin on Wednesday, May 1, with the first round. State championship matches will be held on May 18 at Burlington Tennis Center.

The individual state playoffs will begin with regionals on May 3, and championships being played on May 10-11.

With undefeated Terry Sanford (9-0, 8-0 AAC) featured as the No. 2 seed in the 3A East, junior Drew Hedgecoe will compete in individual regionals for a chance to three-peat as 3A state champion and senior Jayden Pham looks to advance to the championship match in back-to-back years.
