Bed is my happy place. There are few every day luxuries that I enjoy more than the decadence of waking up on a weekend morning and laying in bed, scrolling on my phone, simply enjoying the relaxation of being just where I am. I first fell in love with these sheets when an apartment move allowed me to upgrade to a king sized bed several years ago. Straight from the package, the sheets were soft and cooling (that's courtesy of the 480 thread count of long-staple cotton—both stronger and softer than the average short-staple cotton you might be used to from your average t-shirt) but with wash upon wash, that smoothness only became more silky and comfortable, while still maintaining their shape. They're also OEKO-TEX certified to assure that you don't have to worry about any funky chemicals invading your relaxation space.

And while the feel of them would probably be enough to win me over, the true cherry on top is all of the subtle details that make my bed linen collection more functional and elegant. For example: the fitted sheets are marked with small tags along the elastic that mark the "short" and "long" sides, so you never get your bed halfway made only to discover you've put the sheets on wrong. Likewise, the pillowcases has a special pocket called an envelope closure that keeps your pillow fully contained, so there's no unsightly spillage or uncomfortable midnight slippage.
