While a couple networks started their lineup back in October, others are just beginning their holiday lineups of movies. Lifetime begins their It's a Wonderful Lifetime holiday event on Nov. 18 with Christmas Plus One. The following night sees the premiere of Planes, Trains, and Christmas Trees.

What is Planes, Trains, and Christmas Trees about?

During a business trip to Indiana, event planner Kayley (Kathryn Davis) and sports agent Brett (Olivier Renaud) find themselves unable to fly home for Christmas due to a terrible snowstorm. Determined to get back to New York by Christmas Eve, the two team up and try to make their own way home, but when the storm hits, they’re forced to seek refuge in the sleepy town of Redwood, Ohio; a place that ignites some much-needed Christmas magic in their hearts.

Meet the cast of Planes, Trains, and Christmas Trees

Kathryn Davis (Kayley)

British-born Davis has appeared in a variety of projects including Jupiter's Legacy, Six Degrees of Santa, and Cooking Up Love. Davis is also skilled in dance and is a mezzo-soprano singer.

Olivier Renaud (Brett)

Renaud was a series regular on SyFy's Astrid and Lilly Save the World and has appeared in Snow Angel, Wrapped Up in Love, and Christmas at Maple Creek.
