Welcome to our latest Cape Cod and Islands Softball High School Player of the Week Poll.

High school sports fans can vote for which softball players they think were standouts during the previous week.

The poll will be open from Friday through Thursday. The winner will be announced on Friday along with the new poll. Votes are unlimited.

Rules of the Road

Votes must be cast via the Cape Cod Times website/mobile sites. Votes submitted via email and social media will NOT be accepted. To vote for this week's Player of the Week, scroll down on this page.

Alana Lojko, Monomoy

Lojko became the second Shark (Hailey Lanciani) to win a poll this season with 69% of the votes. She was 3-for-4 with two triples in a 7-6 win over Dennis-Yarmouth.

Molly Belfiore, Falmouth

Belfiore was 3-for-4 with a double, home run, three runs, and five RBIs in a 18-1 win over Sturgis.

Briggs pitched three innings, allowed no hits and struck out seven as the Clippers beat Sturgis.

Maddie Brown, Sandwich

Brown homered and struck out 12 on the mound in a 20-2 win over St. John Paul II.

Meadow Diede, Upper Cape

Diede had two home runs in a 9-8 win over Cape Tech.

Gonsalves went 4-for-4 at the plate for Cape Tech in a loss to Martha's Vineyard.

Kew struck out 14 on the mound, and scored three runs for Nauset in 23-8 win over Barnstable.

Pitman went 5-for-5 in a 23-9 win over Cape Tech.

Azaria Viall, Falmouth

Viall finished 2-for-3 with a home run, two runs, and three RBIs in a win over Sturgis.

Lillian Wullschleger, Nantucket

Wullschleger had a home run in a 22-9 win over Martha's Vineyard.
