Two dead after crash at Oak Hill Country Club in Pittsford

Two men were killed in a one-vehicle crash at Oak Hill Country Club in Pittsford Sunday night.

Lt. Brian Unterborn of the Monroe County Sheriff's Office said that the crash occurred around 9:45 p.m. and involved a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Chapin Way. The driver - a 24-year-old Fairport man - lost control of the vehicle and drove into a tree along the side of the road, he said.

The driver and his passenger - an 18-year-old man from Walworth, Wayne County - were pronounced dead at the scene, Unterborn said. The names of the men were not released, pending notification of family.

Deputies continue to investigate the crash.
