Two men have been charged with stealing jerseys designated for the top picks of three NFL teams, according to prosecutors.

Eric Lambkins, 40, of Marietta, Georgia, and Jude Ocanas, 19, of Los Angeles, each face second-degree burglary, stealing and first-degree trespassing charges, a release from the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office indicated.

The men were visiting Kansas City for the NFL Draft when they allegedly snuck into a restricted area and stole three jerseys with No. 1 on the back for the first players drafted by the Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers and Minnesota Vikings, according to court documents.

Prosecutors say Lambkins and Ocanas entered the Nike room and talent waiting area before taking the jerseys — each valued by the NFL at $350.

The two allegedly walked through an emergency exit and entered the stage area, where security footage captured them carrying a bag. The two were then seen leaving the talent waiting room, with the bag looking “fuller,” court documents claim.

Officers responded to the Kansas City International Airport later that day to find the two men attempting to fly back to their home states.

Police searched their luggage and found the jerseys inside.

Both men were booked in Jackson County Jail. Information on upcoming court dates was not publicly available Saturday afternoon.
