Two Anderson County school districts use e-learning as severe weather hits Upstate

Two Anderson County School districts switched to e-learning on Thursday morning due to the impact of severe weather, electrical outages, blocked roads, and downed trees across the Upstate.

Here are the following schools that have switched to e-learning today:

Anderson School District One is operating on a regular schedule.

Anderson School District Two is following an e-learning schedule.

Anderson School District Three will operate on a regular schedule. All Anderson School District Four schools will operate at regular hours, except Townville Elementary, which is on a two-hour delay.

Anderson School District Five is also following an e-learning schedule and released the following statement:

"We know that many of our families and teachers are without power, so please be assured that we will be flexible about allowing additional time to make up eLearning assignments for today.

"If you have questions, don't hesitate to contact your direct supervisor. The district will communicate additional information today regarding the makeup of time.

Residents can contact the technical support team for E-learning at 864-222-4911.

According to Anderson District Five, technical support is limited in its ability to support home wireless networks due to the wide range of potential problems that could arise during weather events.

Support personnel will be available on e-learning days to answer your calls from 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
