Twitter goes crazy with over-the-top videos after Kanye-Kim divorce bombshell

Kim Kardashian’s divorce papers had barely been filed before the Twitterverse weighed in on the doomed celebrity union with deliciously snarky responses.

After a protracted, public separation from her husband of six years, rap mogul Kanye West, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star sought a legal split on Friday.

“Kim Kardashian files for divorce from Kanye West,” tweeted Amy Lynn. “What is this world coming to when two attention-seeking wh--es like that can’t make it. In other news, I had BBQ ribs for dinner.”

Twitter user “I hate Trump” went a different route, posting a short video of University of North Carolina men’s basketball coach Roy Williams beaming while jumping up and down with his players inside a locker room.

“Kanye West (right now) ‘cause he’s finally free from Kim Kardashian,” she quipped.

Others decided to take a political tack.

Twitter user Black Beth Dutton posted a pic of stone-faced Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, who’s involved in his own political drama after sneaking out of the country while his constituents were literally freezing to death.

“Photo of Ted Cruz calling Kris Jenner to thank her for leaking that Kim and Kanye divorce news to the media to take the attention off of him for a few days,” she wrote.

Many Twitter users posted images of assorted characters and athletes — including a Goth-y Edward Scissorhands and a man literally on fire — sprinting away, as West ostensibly would be doing now.

Another common theme were videos of Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, as a Machiavellian-like villain rejoicing in the divorce revelation.

In a tweet posted by user Matt, it shows a black-clad, sunglasses-sporting Jenner suspiciously closing a laptop.

“Kris Jenner after leaking Kim and Kanye’s divorce to TMZ.”

And lastly, Twitter user Alex Ulrichh imagines Kardashian and West as two aggressive lapdogs barking and gnashing their teeth at one another before growing bored and returning to their usual business.

“How I imagine the Kim and Kanye relationship was,” reads the tweet.

Prior to marrying West in 2014, Kardashian was wed to former NBA hoops player Kris Humphries for 72 days.

Kardashian is reportedly asking for shared physical custody from West of their four kids: daughters, North, 7 and 3-year-old Chicago, and sons, Saint, 5, and 1-year-old Psalm.

The couple has a prenuptial agreement that neither partner intends to contest, noted multiple outlets.
