You tend to find the most randomly helpful things when you’re on social media — and this ATM piggy bank has Twitter stacking and saving their cash.

Let me be clear: This is a kid’s toy. However, once Twitter user fr0laye posted a video captioned, “This is the only efficient way to save money for me,” folks on Twitter took note. The tweet earned over 116,000 likes and more than 15,000 retweets.

“Okay but like, no overdraft fees or service fees just to keep your money safe and don’t need to leave the house during quarantine? I’m sold,” one person commented under the post.

Other Twitter users had a lot of questions as to whether or not the device worked like a real ATM.

“So when you wanna take cash out, does it dispense like an ATM?” one person wrote.

“Wait, so what’s the limit of how much you can save in there?” another inquired.

“I need my $2 back,” joked a third.

The piggy bank was created to teach kids to manage money. While the ATM piggy bank does work like a real ATM, it is just a toy that comes with a cardboard credit card to dispense and withdraw real bills and coins. The battery-operated ATM piggy bank also requires a four-digit code to “access your funds,” which you can always change. The machine can check your balance, too. However, it only recognizes USD currency. There also isn’t a defined limit on how much you can add to the savings bank, but it fits as much cash as you can.

Although the product has Twitter’s attention, it’s also an Amazon Choice product with 4.4 out of 5 stars on Amazon. One shopper said it was a great gift for their daughter.

“It was exactly what we expected and she really enjoys using the bank card,” they said. “Great item to help kids learn to ‘save’ in a fun way. Usually they only see money coming out of the ATM machines, so being responsible to put it in is an important message.”

While the piggy bank could be a way to save your cash, some reviewers note the machine’s lack of security.

“Any card in the shape of an ATM card will work on this machine so if you think hiding the card will prevent security breeches you are going to be disappointed,” one shopper wrote. “However, if you lose the ATM card this is a positive because a cardboard credit card you get in junk mail works great.”
