TVLine Items: Lindsay Lohan’s Irish Rom-Com Trailer, True Detective Ratings High and More

Netflix has released a trailer for Irish Wish, a movie rom-com starring Lindsay Lohan, Jane Seymour, Ayesha Curry (Black Lady Sketch Show), Ed Speleers (Star Trek: Picard) and Alexander Vlahos (Outlander), and premiering Friday, March 15.

The premise: When the love of her life gets engaged to her best-friend, Maddie (played by Lohan) puts her feelings aside to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland — until a spontaneous “wish for true love” causes her to wake up as the bride-to-be!

* The True Detective: Night Country finale amassed 3.2 million cross-platform viewers on Sunday night, marking a season high and a 55% improvement on the anthology’s Season 3 finale circa February 2019 aka pre-(HBO) Max. * Disney+ is expanding its 2024 Korean slate with Blood Free, starring Ju Jihoon (Kingdom) and Han Hyojoo (Moving) and following a former bodyguard recruited to protect the CEO of a controversial lab-grown meat company; Unmasked, starring Kim Hyesoo (Under the Queen’s Umbrella) and following a team of investigative journalists who are fighting for their careers after airing a controversial story; The Tyrant, in which a U.S. government agent tries to recover a deadly virus stolen from the South Korean government; and Gangnam B-Side, in which a pariah detective is pulled back into the game after his daughter’s friend goes missing. Additionally, The Zone: Survival Mission has been renewed for Season 3, with Kwon Yuri and Yoo Jaesuk returning alongside new hosts Kim Donghyun (the former UFC fighter) and popular YouTuber Dex.

* Prime Video has greenlit a feature-length documentary chronicling the final 12 days of Roger Federer’s professional tennis career.

* Alan Cumming and Jane Lynch have joined the Season 2 voice cast of The Bravest Knight, Hulu’s animated series in which Sir Cedric (voiced by T.R. Knight) regales his wee daughter with stories of how he went from being a humble pumpkin farmer to becoming [see series title]. Per Variety, Lynch and Cumming will respectively voice a vegetarian ogre and a pompous sheriff.

* Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will make its streaming debut on Max next Tuesday, Feb. 27.
