The kickoff time and TV channel for South Carolina’s next football game are set.

The USC Gamecocks play the Jacksonville State Gamecocks at home at noon on Saturday, Nov. 4 at Williams-Brice Stadium, it was announced Monday. The game will be televised on ESPNU.

It will be USC’s first noon home game of the season. The earliest start this season at Williams-Brice was 3:30 p.m. against Florida on Oct. 14.

South Carolina (2-5, 1-4 SEC), has dropped three games in a row: Tennessee (41-20), Florida (41-39) and Missouri (34-12). With five contests left on the schedule and two wins to their name, the Gamecocks need four more wins to reach bowl eligibility.

This will be the first meeting between South Carolina and newly minted FBS team Jacksonville State (6-2). It’s JSU’s first SEC game since 2016 (when it played LSU) and first Power 5 game since moving to Conference USA this season.

The Gamecocks play Texas A&M on the road this Saturday after a touchdown-less 34-12 defeat at the hands of the then-No. 20 Missouri Tigers.

The other Gamecocks (of Jacksonville State) play Florida International University on Wednesday, so they’ll have a longer week of rest between that contest and the next one against South Carolina.
