TV channel, kickoff time set for South Carolina’s home football game vs. SC State

South Carolina football will conclude its three-game homestand next week when it hosts S.C. State.

The Gamecocks play the Bulldogs at noon on Oct. 1 at Williams-Brice Stadium, the SEC announced Monday. The game will be televised by SEC Network.

South Carolina is 2-0 all-time against the Bulldogs, with the first matchup occurring in 2007. This is the first time the teams have faced off since 2009.

USC (1-2, 0-2 SEC) lost its last game to Georgia at home 48-7. The Bulldogs (1-1) last played on Sept. 10, defeating Bethune-Cookman 33-9.
