The ACC has announced a kickoff time and TV channel for No. 5 Clemson’s road game at Florida State next Saturday.

The Tigers will kick off against the Seminoles at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 15, the conference said Monday. ABC will broadcast the game from Tallahassee.

Though the prominence of this matchup took a hit with Florida State losing at home to Wake Forest last weekend, it’s still a crucial contest for both teams as ACC Atlantic Division play heats up.

No. 5 Clemson moved to 5-0 and 3-0 in the ACC last Saturday with a win over No. 10 N.C. State and is now one of only two undefeated Atlantic teams along with Syracuse.

Florida State (4-1, 2-1 ACC) scored its first AP Top 25 ranking since 2018 last week after a 4-0 start. But the No. 23 Seminoles lost to No. 22 Wake Forest 31-21 in Tallahassee and fell out of this week’s poll.

FSU leads the all-time series against Clemson 20-14, but the Tigers have won six straight in the series dating back to 2015, the first time they made the College Football Playoff.

Before 2015, FSU had won three straight from 2012 to 2014 and five of seven against Clemson from 2008 to 2014.

Last season, running back Will Shipley’s go-ahead touchdown with 2:53 remaining fueled a 30-20 Clemson win over FSU in Memorial Stadium. The Tigers trailed 20-17 in the fourth quarter before Shipley’s score and also returned a fumble for a touchdown on the game’s final play, a desperation hook and ladder.
