BASEBALL

Denmark 9, Luxemburg Casco 1

DENMARK - Grant Schroeder struck out seven while allowing four hits and one run in six innings to pick up the win.

Denmark took a three-run lead in the second inning, due in part to seven Luxemburg-Casco walks and three hit-batsmen.

Leading the Vikings at the plate was Josh Gajeski, who was 1-for-1 with three runs scored.

Denmark is 10-3, including 8-2 in the North Eastern Conference. Luxemburg-Casco falls to 9-4 and 7-4.

Wrightstown 11, Waupaca 6

WAUPACA - The Tigers scored four runs in the top of the fifth inning to go ahead 9-6 in the North Eastern Conference win over the Comets.

Quade Thompson was 4-for-4, including a double, with two RBI for Wrightstown. Landon Helphrey had three hits and drove in two runs. Trevor Vande Hey added two hits, including a triple, and drove in two runs.

Mason Driscoll pitched 3⅓ scoreless innings to get the win. He allowed two hits, walked four and struck out five.

Max Dolski had three hits and an RBI for Waupaca. Henry Williams had a double and drove in three runs, and Riley Bechard had two hits, including a solo home run.

Little Chute 2, Oconto Falls 1

LITTLE CHUTE - Charlie Vanden Burgt pitched a complete game, allowing one run on three hits while striking out nine to lead the Mustangs to the win over the Panthers.

Isaac Verhagen had two hits for Little Chute.

Jack Adler took the loss for Oconto Falls.

Crivitz 15, Wausaukee 5

CRIVITZ - The Wolverines rallied from an early five-run deficit to earn the Marinette & Oconto Conference win.

Crivitz scored four in the third, nine in the fourth and two in the fifth to put an end to the contest.

The Wolverines took advantage of eight walks and three errors.

Tegan Werner, J.J. Brand, Stephen Allard, Pierce Polomis and Jaxon Kroll all scored two runs for Crivitz. Werner, Brand and Kaden Klaver each drove in two runs.

Jackson Schramm picked up the win, allowing five earned runs on seven hits with two walks and seven strikeouts in five innings of work.

Connor Schroeder was 3-for-3 with a double, a homer and three RBI to lead Wausaukee.

Kewaunee 6-6, Southern Door 4-0

BRUSSELS - Brady Pribek and Jackson Walecka combined on a five-hit shutout to lead the Storm to the Game 2 win and doubleheader sweep.

In the opener, the Storm scored twice in the first and second innings before rallying for two runs in the eighth to pull out the Packerland win.

Southern Door had scored one in the second, two in the fifth and one in the seventh to force extra innings.

Brett Paulsen powered the offense with two hits and two RBI.

Braylon Burg and William Jandrin had two hits each for Southern Door.

In the nightcap, it was all Storm as Kewaunee scored twice in the first, once in the fourth, twice in the fifth and once in the sixth.

Connor Kilgore and Micah Vanness had two hits each for the Storm.

Gibraltar 3-6, Sturgeon Bay 1-9

FISH CREEK - The Clippers scored in all but two innings, including a five-run fourth, to earn a split in the Packerland Conference doubleheader.

In the opener, the Vikings scored twice in the fifth to break a 1-1 tie and earn the victory.

In that game, Bennett Isaacson-Krueger was 2-for-3 with an RBI to lead the Gibraltar offense.

Aaron Brey pitched six innings to earn the win, scattering three hits and giving up an unearend run, while striking out six.

In the nightcap, Garrett Ulberg was 3-for-4 with four RBI, while Bryce Plzak had three hits, and Daniel Lodl and Trey VanderLeest two each to lift Sturgeon Bay.

Braden Kita had two hits for the Vikings.

Pittsville 5, Bonduel 0

BONDUEL - The Panthers scored one run in the first, one in the fifth and three in the seventh to earn the Central Wisconsin Conference crossover win.

The Bears managed six hits, but could not plate a run.

Logan Zickert threw a complete game for the win and also contributed two hits for Pittsville, while Daryn Luther homered.

Bonduel’s record falls to 10-3.

SOFTBALL

Ashwaubenon 2, Green Bay Preble 1

GREEN BAY - Berritt Herr and Katie Geydoshek were locked in a pitcher’s duel, but it was Herr who picked up the win, limiting the Hornets to six hits while striking out six at Finger Road Park.

Geydoshek allowed four hits and struck out 13.

The Hornets stranded seven on base, while the Jaguars left three on base.

Wrightstown 5, Little Chute 0

LITTLE CHUTE - Mallory Colwell went 4-for-4, including a two-run home run, to power the Tigers to the victory.

Bryn Amundson added two hits and two RBI for the Tigers.

Colwell went the distance on the mound, allowing two hits.

Kewaunee 5-2, Southern Door 3-3

BRUSSELS - Madyson Counard had two hits and scored the winning run in the top of the seventh inning on an RBI double by Alanah Kaye as the Eagles earned the doubleheader split with the Storm.

In the opener, Breanna Riha had two hits and Summer Walechka had a solo home run to lead Kewaunee.

Jenna Rohr picked up the win, striking out seven and allowing just four hits.

Sophia Counard had a two-run home run to power Southern Door.

Kaye took the loss, pitching four innings and striking out six.

In Game 2, Ashlyn Delfosse pitched three scoreless innings in relief to earn the win.

Rohr took the loss, striking out three.

Crivitz 12, Wausaukee 2

CRIVITZ - The Wolverines scored two runs in the first, one in the second, four in the fourth and five in the fifth to earn the Marinette & Oconto Conference win.

Madelyn Welty led the Crivitz attack, going 2-for-4 with three RBI. Kiya Brand, Hattie Frievalt, Taryn Tracy, Lillian Biundo and Izabella Wesolowski had two hits each. Brand, Tracy and Tayah Werner added two RBI each.

Isabelle Danielczak picked up the win, scattering eight hits, two earned runs and two walks with six strikeouts.

Lydia Schaal had three hits and Jessica Luccarini had two to lead the Rangers.

Sevastopol 10-20, Green Bay NEW Lutheran 0-1

STURGEON BAY - The Pioneers overpowered the Blazers to earn the Packerland Conference doubleheader sweep.

In Game 1, Sevastopol banged out eight hits, led by Jolene Luedtke, who was 2-for-2 with two RBI. Taylor Kochanski had two RBI. Addison Schauske was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI. Addison Sawyer was 2-for-2 with a triple, and Naomi Rikkola had a home run.

Addison Schauske got the win in the circle, pitching four innings, striking out seven while allowing one walk and two hits.

Libby Ash pitched one inning and struck out two.

In the nightcap, the Pioneers were led by Luedtke with a double, Ash with a double and four RBI, and Rikkola, who was 2-for-4 with two RBI. Schauske was 2-for-4 with a homer and four RBI.

Ash earned the win, pitching five innings and allowing one hit while striking out nine.

St. Mary Catholic 8, Peshtigo 4

FOX CROSSING - The Zephyrs took a 5-3 lead with three runs in the fifth inning and went on to the nonconference win.

Nevaeh Saringer had a two-run double and Sammi Weiss added an RBI single for SMC in the inning.

Saringer added a three-run home run in the sixth inning and finished with six RBI.

Emily Vogel went 4-for-4 and scored two runs for the Zephyrs. Rhiannon Reichenbacher added two hits, including a double, and scored three runs.

Peshtigo was led by Nevaeh Russell, who was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI.

Saringer was the winning pitcher. She pitched 2⅔ innings, allowed one run and two hits.

GIRLS SOCCER

Green Bay Southwest 2, Ashwaubenon 0

GREEN BAY - Alexandra Siudzinski and Autumn Nolle scored unassisted goals in the second half to lead the Trojans to the win over the Jaguars.

Gail Wery had five saves for Green Bay Southwest.

Daisha O’Donnell had six saves for Ashwaubenon.

Green Bay Preble 2, Sheboygan South 0

SHEBOYGAN - The Hornets got two goals in the first half from Johanna Thompson in the victory over the Redwings.

Frida Dax and Olivia Wiernasz both had an assist for Green Bay Preble.

Addison Stauss had one save in goal for Preble.

Luxemburg-Casco 2, Green Bay East 1

LUXEMBURG - Aubrey Frey had a goal and assist, while Sophia Mleziva added a goal and Diem Bonness had an assist to lead the Spartans past the Red Devils in Bay Conference action.

Sherlyn Grijalca scored for East.
