DOVER – Senior Will Mollica scored 20 points and the St. Thomas Aquinas boys basketball team won its 11th straight game with a 75-31 win over Somersworth on Tuesday in a Division III game.

The Saints are now 15-1, and will close out the regular season Friday at Hopkinton. The top two teams in Division III get a first-round bye, and the Saints will secure the No. 2 seed with a win.

“Solid home win tonight before a huge game Friday as we fight for a first-round bye," St. Thomas head coach Dave Morissette said.

Finley Detolla added 12 points for the Saints, while Carson Couperthwait had nine points and eight rebounds, and Cole McClure had eight points and five assists.

BOYS BASKETBALL

HAMPTON – The Astros connected on 13 3-pointers en route to its 13th Division I win in 14 games this season.

Pinkerton senior Jackson Marshall led all scorers with 35 points. Andrew Brander added 14 points for the Astros, while Charles Ludden had 11.

Junior Andrew Simmons led Winnacunnet (2-11) with 15 points, while senior Tyson Khalil had 10.

NASHUA - Dylan Jabre's 24 points led Dover (7-6) to this Division I win on the road. David Cady added 20 points for the Green Wave, while Johnny Arakelian had 12.

SOMERSWORTH – Junior Emilie von der Linden had 14 points and Genna Bolduc had 11 as St. Thomas Aquinas won its 11th straight game and improved to 14-1 with this Division III win.

Seniors Audrey Verde and Elizabeth Flynn had eight and seven points, respectively for the Saints.

YORK, Maine - Ava Brent had 13 points and Nya Avery had 12 as York ended its regular season at 11-7 with this Class B South win.
