Tuesday Morning announces store closings nationwide. What about Warner Robins, Macon?

Tuesday Morning in Warner Robins is among more than half of the Dallas-based retailer’s stores closing across the country as part of a Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection plan.

The store at 4025 Watson Blvd. in the Galleria Square shopping center is among 263 stores expected to close in 2023, including a dozen in Georgia, according to the national chain’s website.

Everything is on sale at all the stores that are closing, according to the website.

The Macon store at 265 Tom Hill Sr. Blvd., Unit 301, is not closing —though a store email initially sent to customers stated the store was shutting down. A subsequent email within two hours announced the store was staying open.

“OOPS! YOUR Rivergate Shopping Center STORE IS STAYING OPEN!,” reads the subject line of the subsequent email.

“We are staying open,” the email reads in part. “We apologize for any confusion caused by our earlier email.”

Tuesday Morning stores offer discounted selections of brand-name home decor including furniture, bedding, appliances and gifts.
