  • EAST CANTON 72, RICHMOND EDISON 21 Caleb Shilling closed the regular season in style, erupting for 45 points and 16 rebounds in the host Hornets' rout of Edison (5-17). The 45 points break the previous single-game school record of 44 set by Jarvis Hall during the 1997-98 season. The 6-foot-10 Shilling hit three 3-pointers among his 15 field goals and made 12 of 13 free throws. Jaedyn McLeod added 11 points for East Canton, which heads to the Division IV tournament with a 16-6 record.

  • MALVERN 70, BUCKEYE TRAIL 33 Four Hornets scored in double figures as host Malvern moved to 21-0 overall and closed IVC North play at 12-0. Rodney Smith scored 16 points, Dylan Phillips 14, J'Allen Barrino 12 and Drake Hutchison 10 for the Hornets, who will go for a perfect regular season when they travel to River (12-8) on Friday. Malvern forced Buckeye Trail (14-7, 8-3) into 22 turnovers.

  • CENTRAL CATHOLIC 71, NORTHWEST 63 The Vlacovsky brothers combined for nine 3-pointers and 51 points as the visiting Crusaders won their fifth straight game. Sophomore Lance Vlacovsky scored 29 points and hit five 3s on his 16th birthday. Luke Vlacovsky, a junior, added 22 points and four 3s for Central (13-7). Ian Ziegler led Northwest (14-7) with 21 points.

  • HOOVER 54, WALSH JESUIT 47 Zac Braucher scored 23 points and grabbed six rebounds as the Vikings (14-7) won for the fifth time in the last six games. Braucher shot 7-of-10 from the floor and 8-of-9 from the foul line. No details on Walsh Jesuit (11-10) were reported.

  • GREEN 59, ELLET 29 Brady Rollyson scored 14 points and Anthony Fortunato added 13 as the Bulldogs (16-5) cruised to a home win.

  • JACKSON 89, MEDINA 63 The visiting Polar Bears (17-4) won easily for their ninth straight victory and 14th in the last 15 games. No details were reported.

  • INDIAN VALLEY 46, CARROLLTON 44 Lincoln Mallarnee surpassed 1,000 career points and the Warriors almost got a signature win, losing a close one at home to 18-4 Indian Valley. Braylon Murphy hit a 3-pointer to put Carrollton up a point with a minute left in the fourth quarter. But Tyson Pryor answered with a 3-point play for the Braves, who would not trail again. Pryor scored a game-high 25 points. Murphy led Carrollton (9-13) with 13 points and Bryce Lonca added 11. Mallarnee finished with nine points and sits at 1,002 career points, marking the eighth Carrollton player all-time to reach the milestone.

  • MARLINGTON 52, TUSKY VALLEY 43 Beau Himmelheber scored 16 points and Cameron Evanich added 11 points and 14 rebounds as the Dukes won on the road. No other details were available.
