Trump-loving actor Antonio Sabato Jr. wants to start up conservative film studio

Less boobs, more Bible.

Model and former Hollywood heartthrob Antonio Sabato Jr., a diehard Donald Trump adherent, is trying to round up a posse of right-wing Hollywood movers and shakers to start up a movie studio ostensibly meant to produce more Christian-themed projects.

“To all conservative producers who want to make a change this is the time, get in touch with me, and be part of our team,” tweeted Sabato on Thursday. “Right now we are in preproduction with ‘Trail Blazers’ our first in line for many more and first to start our studio.”

The 48-year-old former Calvin Klein model and “Melrose Place” hunk says his career has flipped from stud to dud due to his outspoken conservative views.

Sabato’s touted upcoming project “Trail Blazers,” an apparent Western with a 2021 release date, is described as “the ultimate battle between good and evil, between darkness and light, between God and Satan himself, according to IMDb’s description.

The film, directed and co-written by Sabato, boasts a cast that would feel right at home perched on the “Fox & Friends” couch: Scott Baio, Stacey Dash, Kristy Swanson, Dean Cain and Kevin Sorbo.

Sabato, who praised Trump as a guest speaker at the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland, drew the ire of many Democrats when he shockingly floated a Barack Obama conspiracy theory during an ABC News interview.

“First of all, I don’t believe the guy is a Christian. I don’t believe he follows the God that I love and the Jesus that I love,” Sabato told interviewers LZ Granderson and Amna Nawaz. “I think he has an agenda from the beginning. I think he’s, uh, I mean he grew up, if you follow his story, if you read his book, if you understand about Obama, I mean, that’s not a Christian name, is it?”

Sabato, who is twice divorced, has been dogged by prior drug allegations.

His second wife, Cheryl Nunes, whom he married in 2012, claimed he admitted to her in 2016 that he had been abusing prescription drugs following a car accident. She also alleged that he had been hiding benzodiazepine in an empty melatonin bottle, according to a 2017 People report.

Sabato also allegedly told her in 2009 that he previously had used crystal meth for “many years” but stopped after the birth of his daughter from a previous relationship.

In 2018, he ran for California’s 26th District Congressional District seat but was trounced by Democratic opponent, Julia Brownley, who received 62% of the vote, reported The Washington Post.
