Trump campaign already selling T-shirts saying, ‘Fill That Seat’ as he vows to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg

To some, the death of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was an incalculable loss. To others, it’s a marketing opportunity.

No sooner had Ginsburg died on Friday of pancreatic cancer complications than top Republicans began, ignoring the trailblazing justice’s dying wish, to plot the filling of her seat before the next president is chosen.

Now, as Ginsburg’s family prepares to bury their matriarch, the campaign of President Trump is selling T-shirts emblazoned with, “Fill that seat.”

The T-shirt is a black number with all-caps, stately white lettering over the smaller-print “Make America great again” logo, all topped by an image of the Supreme Court with an American flag flying above it, the only color on the shirt.

The campaign unveiled the new addition late Saturday, according to Newsweek.

Trump had previously expressed his intent to fill any Supreme Court vacancies that occurred during his term, no matter how close to the election, and he has reiterated that since.

“We were put in this position of power and importance to make decisions for the people who so proudly elected us, the most important of which has long been considered to be the selection of United States Supreme Court Justices,” he tweeted Saturday.

Ginsburg will be laid to rest at a private funeral and buried alongside her husband at Arlington National Cemetery.

The T-shirts retail for $30.
