‘Truly in my element here’: Check out this Riverdale star’s vacation in Miami Beach

Veronica, we’re not in Riverdale anymore.

Camila Mendes was in a Sunshine State of mind over the New Year’s Eve holiday weekend and invited her fans to take a look at her fancy vacation.

The TV star’s most recent Instagram post is practically an ad for the Setai in Miami Beach.

Her character Veronica Lodge would likely feel at home as well at this much lauded property that opened in 2004 and whose fan base already includes the likes of Beyonce and Madonna.

In one snap Mendes wears just a T shirt and bikini bottoms, a sleek suite behind her in the mirror. In other posts, she walks the well manicured grounds; and shows followers the gorg beach scattered with chaise lounges.

No secret that she wasn’t solo: Mendes spent the New Year’s Eve holiday with her new (ish) boyfriend, You Tuber Rudy Mancuso. The two reportedly met on the set of Amazon Prime Video’s upcoming “Música.”

As per Deadline, Mancuso (who also directs) plays a version of himself, a New Jersey man plagued by the music in his head.

As for Mendes, she’s not only the romantic lead but also wears executive producer hat. The 28-year-old Virginia native recently told Net A Porter that she couldn’t be prouder of the project because she was able to honor her heritage (both her parents are from Brazil).

“I could cry thinking about it; it meant so much to me. I’ll never forget that experience and I don’t know when I’m going to get it again,” she told the style site. “[Even] characters in movies that are written to be Latin are never Brazilian; they are always from a different country. We have a whole audience here desperate to see themselves represented on screen; why aren’t we taking advantage of that?”

Mancuso, 30, was also thrilled to have the CW standout aboard.

“I’m beyond excited to have the wildly gifted mind of Camila join this special journey,” he said after the casting news was released last spring.

It’s unclear whether love blossomed before the movie or during. No matter. These two are obviously having fun in a way romantic setting.

Also included in Mendes’ post was a shout out to the Setai: “Truly in my element here.”
