Lawson R. Rosane

Lawson Rae Rosane, 84, of Pasco, died Jan. 20 at Trios Southridge Hospital in Kennewick.

He was born in Hot Springs, S.D., and was a lifelong Tri-Cities resident.

The U.S. Navy veteran was a retired carpenter in the construction industry.

Angel Gonzalez

Angel Gonzalez, 32, of Prescott, died Jan. 21 in Richland.

He was born in Oroville, Calif., and lived in the Tri-Cities for five years.

He was a smoke jumper on a Tri-Cities fire crew.

Guillermo Rolon Melchor

Guillermo Rolon Melchor, 59, of Pasco, died Jan. 21 in Kennewick.

He was born in Tecalitlan, Jalisco, Mexico, and lived in the Tri-Cities for 37 years.

He was a retired horse breeder.

Betty Lou Van Voorst

Betty Lou Van Voorst, 88, of Post Falls, Idaho, died Dec. 31 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

She was born in Norborne, Mo., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 25 years.

She was a homemaker.

Mark Allen Engebretson, 59, of Kennewick, died Jan. 21 at Chaplaincy Hospice Care in Kennewick.

He was born in Kalispel, Mont., and lived in the Tri-Cities most of his life.

He was a laborer.

Sally Gutierrez Rivette, 83, of Kennewick, died Jan. 19 in Kennewick.

She was born in California and lived in the Tri-Cities for the past 18 years.

She was a retired licensed vocational nurse.

Albert Frank DeBock, 91, of Grandview, died Jan. 21 in Grandview.

He was born Outlook and was a lifelong Lower Yakima Valley resident.

He was a retired car salesman and farmer.

Kent Douglas Hoover, 69, of Kennewick, died Jan. 23 at home.

He was born in Baker City, Ore., and lived in the Tri-Cities since 1980.

He was a retired police officer for the Richland Police Department.
