James Rocco “J.R.” Brotherton, 22, of Sunnyside, died Feb. 28 in Portland, Ore.
He was born in Yakima and was a lifelong Sunnyside resident.

Ferman E. Stubblefield, 90, died Feb. 14.
He was a longtime Tri-Cities resident.
He was a retired chemical engineer at the Hanford site.

Karen M. Putnam
Karen Marie Putnam, 81, of Burbank, died Feb. 27 in Burbank.
She was born in Lewiston, Mont., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 44 years.
She was a retired bar manager for many Tri-Cities area bars.

Ruben Ortega
Ruben Ortega, 67, of Pasco, died Feb. 28 in Pasco.
He was born in Peru and lived in the Tri-Cities for 24 years.
He was a retired case manager for ALTC.

Edmon J. Hummel
Edmon James Hummel, 86, of Pasco, died Feb. 29 in Kennewick.
He was born in Trail City, S.D., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 49 years.
He was a farmer.
