Vonda Lee Simmons, 84, of Richland, died July 22 at Prestige Assisted Living in Richland.

She was born in Faulkton, S.D., and lived in the Tri-Cities for the past 27 years.

She was a retired secretary for GE and Battelle at the Hanford site.

Dexter Joseph Goldsmith, 3, of Richland, died July 19 in Richland.

He was born in Richland and was a lifelong resident.

Skip Fisher, 70, of Prosser, died July 21 in Prosser.

He was born in Seattle and was a longtime Yakima Valley resident.

He was a retired landscaper.

Gloria Miranda, 89, of Kennewick, died July 20 in Kennewick.

She was born in San Benito, Texas, and lived in the Tri-Cities for 24 years.

She was a retired secretary.

William ‘Bill’ B. Monroe

William “Bill” Boyton Monroe, 80, of Kennewick, died July 18 at Trios Southridge Hospital in Kennewick.

He was born in Bellingham and lived in the Tri-Cities for 16 years.

He was a retired nuclear mechanical draftsman at the Hanford site.

Carl R. McLaughlin

Carl Ray McLaughlin, 67, of Kennewick, died July 20 in Kennewick.

He was born in Pasco and was a lifelong Tri-Cities resident.

He was the owner/carpenter for Northwest Builders and Developers and a carpenter at the Hanford site.

Alvin ‘Al’ K. Hageman

Alverin “Al” Kenneth Hageman, 90, of Pasco, died July 13 in Pasco.

He was born in Platte Center, Neb., and lived in Pasco for 62 years.

He was a retired quality control radiography technician for Exxon Nuclear and Siemens Corporation.

James W. Kickbush

James William Kickbush, 78, of Pasco, died July 19 at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.

He was born in Millville, Iowa, and lived in the Tri-Cities since 1991.

He was a retired facility engineer for Lamb Weston.
