He was born in Clarksville, Texas, and lived in the Tri-Cities since 1992.

He was a retired science education specialist at the Hanford site.

Carol Ann Jorgensen, 72, of Pasco, died Aug. 31 at Chaplaincy Hospice Care in Kennewick.

She was born in Portland, Ore., and lived in the Tri-Cities for the past 38 years.

She was a retired teacher at Kingspoint Christian School in Pasco.

Apolonia ‘Pola’ R. Urbina

Apolonia “Pola” R. Urbina, 82, of Prosser, died Aug. 31 in Richland.

She was born in Donna, Texas, and was a longtime Lower Yakima Valley resident.

She was a retired agricultural laborer.
