he was born in San Pedro, Mexico, and lived in Connell for 53 years.

He was a retired refrigeration mechanic for Lamb Weston.

Gloria Helen Harris, 83, of Burbank, died Oct. 2 in Pasco.

She was born in Priest River, Idaho, and lived in the Tri-Cities for two years.

She was a retired bookkeeper for a law firm.

Alice ‘Charlene’ Shoopman

Alice “Charlene” Shoopman, 74, of Pasco, died Sept. 28 at home.

She was born in Cudahy, Calif., and lived in the Tri-Cities for 25 years.

She was a retired bartender at Oasis Bar.

Rita J. Beasley-Edwards

Rita J. Beasley-Edwards, 70, of Sandy Springs, Ga., died Sept. 22 in Sandy Springs.

She was born in Pasco and was a longtime Tri-Cities resident.

She was a fashion buyer.

Richard Wilbricht, 84, of Richland, died Oct. 2 at home.

He was born in Dubuque, Iowa, and lived in the Tri-Cities for 46 years.

The U.S. Army veteran was a retired account manager for the Tri-City Herald.

Clarence Alvin Roosandaal, 83, of Sunnyside, died Oct. 3 in Sunnyside.

He was born in Lynden, Wash., and was a longtime Yakima Valley resident.

He was a retired maintenance worker for the city of Sunnyside.

Dennis F. Brendel

Dennis Franklin Brendel, 82, of Pasco, died Oct. 2 in Pasco.

He was born in Kansas City, Kan., and lived in the Tri-Cities area for 46 years.

He was the founder and the retired CEO and president of Columbia Energy and Environmental Services.

Joseph ‘Joe’ E. Smith

Joseph “Joe” Edwin Smith, 91, of Richland, died Oct. 2 at home.

He was born in Farwell, Texas, and lived in the Tri-Cities for 74 years.

The U.S. Army veteran who served in the Korean War was a retired maintenance manager.

Eric Christopher Mouda, 42, of Kennewick, died Oct. 2 in Kennewick.
