Quick ideas for Valentine’s Day gifts in the Tri-Cities

Finding the perfect gift for Valentine’s Day can be stressful.

Luckily for Tri-Cities shoppers, Valentine’s weekend pop-up markets are back.

If that’s not quite what you’re looking for, there also are plenty of tried and true favorites to help you shop for your sweetie this weekend.

Layered Cake Valentine Market

Layered Cake Artistry’s Valentine’s Day market is back.

Their dessert counter will be stocked with all things pink and red, and vendors will be on hand to help find the perfect gift to go with their delicious treats.

Some special items this year include strawberry towers, handmade strawberry pop tarts and more.

This year’s vendors include: My Garden Overfloweth, Carly Allred Studio, Banded By Bloxham and Muse Decor.

The market is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 14. Pre-orders for Valentine’s Day must be made by Friday, Feb. 10.

Public Market

The Public Market at Columbia River Warehouse is hosting a Pal-entine’s Day event to find the perfect gift for your pal, person, parent or pet.

The event is billed as “a day of love, friendship, fashion, crafts, fun, food and beauty.”

In addition to the regular market vendors, they’ll be hosting Valentine’s Day themed sales and activities throughout the day.

There will be live music, a fashion show, floral arrangement class, botox party, bracelet shopping bar and more.

Two Sparrows Home Boutique will host a Valentine’s and Anti-Valentine’s Day sign making class.

The Pal-entine’s Day event is 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11.

The market is at 10 E. Bruneau Ave. in Kennewick, at the old Welch’s Juice plant. Parking and the entrance are near the intersection of Bruneau and North Beech Street.

Luna Wellness

Luna Wellness Center in Pasco is offering a Valentine’s Day pop-up market.

In addition to their array of spiritual and wellness products and services, they’ll have 10 vendors on hand plus food and drink vendors.

They’ll also be doing tarot card readings in their new tarot room.

Event vendors include a henna artist, Color Street Nails, Sublime Tumblers n’ More, Luxe Linx by Rei Permanent Jewelry and more

The store itself features several different vendors with custom tea blends, crystals, candles, jewelry art and more. They also have space dedicated to artists on consignment, and several wellness practitioners.

The Little Plant Shop

This Tri-Cities favorite now has two locations. The Little Plant Shop expanded their unique offerings to a second store in Richland last fall.

They carry everything from common houseplants to rare varieties, as well as planters and pots. Little Plant Shop also offers consultations for homes and offices.

They get new plants in weekly, with regular posts to their Facebook page about inventory updates.

Their new Richland location is at 709 The Parkway. The Pasco store is at 3315 W. Court St.

Crumbl Cookies

With three locations in the Tri-Cities, this custom cookie shop is sure to have something to anyone on your list.

They can accommodate just about any order, if you order ahead of time by using their app or calling. They also offer weekly specials.

Crumbl Cookies is open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday. They are closed on Sundays.

Locations: 1102 N. Columbia Center Blvd. in the Kennewick Target parking lot; 2665 Queensgate Dr. in Richland and 5025 Road 68 in Pasco.

Chukar Cherries

This Prosser-based favorite sells a variety of gift ideas from their trademark chocolate covered dried cherries and nuts to decadent desert sauces, preserves and more.

This year they’re a finalist for a Good Food Award for their Organic Rainier Cherries. The awards are hosted by the Good Food Foundation for quality and sustainability.

Their Prosser Wine Country store, 320 Wine Country Road, offers tastings of their trademark dried cherry confections. They’re open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Chukar Cherries products also are sold at various stores, including Yoke’s Fresh Markets or buy gifts and gift cards online.

Country Mercantile

This retailer has it all from gift baskets to handmade chocolates to gourmet soup mixes and jams, and even local produce.

Country Mercantile is family owned, serving the Tri-Cities since 1996.

The Richland outlet is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the Pasco store is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Pasco location is at 232 Crestloch Rd, just north of Pasco on Highway 395. The Richland store just south of Badger Mountain, at 5015 Ava Way. Take the Dallas Road (104) exit on Interstate 82.

Beaver Bark

This gift and garden center has everything from decor and gifts to landscaping supplies.

Great Harvest Bread

Great Harvest bakery makes a variety of breads with daily specialties. They also have muffins, cakes, cookies and other baked goods. Gifting options include baskets and gift boxes.

The Kennewick location is open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday at 8378 W. Grandridge Blvd. The Pasco bakery is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday at 6705 Chapel Hill Blvd.

The Richland location for PNNL staff at 3335 Innovation Blvd. is open 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

2023 Benton Franklin Fair

It’s never too early to start planning your trip to the fair. The Benton Franklin Fair is offering a sweetheart deal just for Valentine’s Day.

The $50 bundle includes 2 adult admission tickets, a main lot parking pass and $25 in fair bucks good at any food and drink vendor. Bundles can be ordered online or picked up in person at the fair office, at 812 W. Washington St., Pasco.
