Tri-Cities favorite food truck plaza plans 2nd Summer’s Hub location

Will the Summer’s Hub lightning strike twice?

Tri-Cities businessman Chris Corbin is betting it will.

Corbin announced in a video posted on Facebook that he plans to open a second edition of the wildly successful Summer’s Hub food truck plaza in front of Gesa Stadium in Pasco.

The video announcement indicates it will be built along Burden Boulevard in front of the stadium. The property is owned by the city of Pasco.

The new location could open as early as spring 2025, he told Kris Lapp, who blogs about the Tri-Cities food scene under #lapdaddyapproved. The video was posted to the Summer’s Hub Facebook page.

Summer’s Hub Kennewick opened between sportsman’s Warehouse and Chuck E Cheese and has become the busiest spot for food trucks in the region.

The plaza includes ample parking for visitors, hookups for dozens of food trucks, and a central building with a restaurant and beer taps, restrooms and indoor seating.

State business records show Corbin established a legal entity, Summer’s Hub of Pasco LLC, in June 2023.
