Travis Kelce Reportedly Lands in Sydney Ahead of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour Dates

Travis Kelce has landed in Australia to join his pop star girlfriend Taylor Swift in Sydney for her next string of Eras Tour dates, according to local media outlets.

The Sydney Morning Herald shared a video online that appeared to show the Kansas City Chiefs tight end disembarking a jet on Thurs., Feb. 22, before climbing into an awaiting silver vehicle. His flight from Hawaii to Sydney landed at about 9 a.m. local time, according to 7 News Australia.

Kelce was spotted playing golf in Las Vegas, Nevada, earlier this week as fans speculated whether he would join Swift in Australia. Following the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LVIII victory on Feb. 11, Kelce’s football season has come to an end just as the “Cruel Summer” singer’s international tour is picking up.

The NFL player’s father, Ed Kelce, recently told The Sydney Morning Herald that his younger son “seemed keen” on making the trip but wasn’t sure if the timing would work out due to an earlier charity golf commitment he had in Las Vegas.

Swift recently performed for three consecutive nights in Melbourne. Her first show at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Feb. 16 saw the “Anti-Hero” songstress setting a new personal record as she performed in front of an estimated 96,000 people—a larger crowd than she’s seen not just on her Eras Tour, but over her entire career thus far.

Swift has four consecutive shows in Sydney coming up, with the kickoff show at Accor Stadium happening on Fri., Feb. 23. Fan rumors that Kelce would join her appeared to be confirmed less than 48 hours before her first Sydney show.

Meanwhile, Swift appeared to enjoy playing the tourist during her downtime in Sydney. She was spotted visiting the animals during a trip to the Sydney Zoo earlier this week and was also seen checking out a Sydney restaurant with Sabrina Carpenter, who is opening for Swift for all of her Eras Tour dates in Australia and Singapore.
