WHILE NFL FANS have been familiar with Travis Kelce—the Kansas City Chiefs superstar is a two-time Super Bowl-winning tight end, a surefire future-hall-of-famer and a perennial top pick in every fantasy draft—much of the rest of the world is just now getting to know him. It was rumored that the 33-year-old was "quietly hanging out" with music superstar Taylor Swift (of Red, 1989, etc. fame), and the rumor was seemingly confirmed when she attended the Chiefs' game against the Chicago Bears, spending time in a luxury suite alongside Kelce's mom.
Anyone watching Kelce play in an NFL game, or his pre- or post-game interviews, or clips from his hugely-popular New Heights podcast (which he hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce, who is also a star NFL player for the Philadelphia Eagles) can tell that he's both charming and charismatic. He even hosted Saturday Night Live earlier in 2023 following the Chiefs' Super Bowl victory over the Eagles.
And Taylor Swift fans (Swifties, if you will) will be happy to know that Kelce isn't exactly hiding hints to his romance with the "Cruel Summer" singer. In an episode of the New Heights podcast, Kelce visibly celebrated when teammate Chris Jones said that he was jamming to Taylor Swift music following the Chiefs most recent victory.

Still, though, anyone who's a superfan of Taylor Swift (or just casually keeping up; it's kind of hard to avoid at this point) may want to know more about Travis Kelce. Sure, we know that he seems like a swell guy, and he's got a nice mom and brother, and that he went to the University of Cincinnati, and that he's damn good at football. But what the Swifties may particularly be curious about is what he's like when things get romantic. And, luckily, there's somewhere to look for that: a whole reality dating show.
That's right. Back in 2016—when Kelce had only completed two seasons (he missed almost the entirety of his rookie year with an injury)—he starred in a reality dating show on E! titled Catching Kelce. Get it? Cause he plays tight end and catches passes, and this show found singles competing for his affection? Fun play on words. But yes, this show exists.
Still hard to believe the same Travis Kelce that had his own reality show, “Catching Kelce,” to find love ended up with Taylor Swift.

The premise is very simple: 50 women, one representing each state in the United States of America, went onto the show to compete for the NFL star's love. And it... was... fun!
Stuff like Kelce going full out and slam dunking a basketball over one of his prospective love interests happened. Few greater lines on television have been spoken than "He dunked on me so hard... but it was hot!"

Anyway, this show aired seven years ago, so you know it's outdated (the show's winner has been talking to the media given he renewed interest around its star's love life, and a rebuttal has also been issued). But you can watch.
And anyway... Season 2... is... currently airing on your TV/social media feeds/etc.
