Travis Kelce Was Filmed Lifting Taylor Swift Up in the Air at Coachella

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift were all over each other at Coachella, kissing in the audience and generally engaging in PDA on Saturday night. But amid all the lovey-doveyness came one surprise move: Kelce lifting Swift up during Dom Dolla’s performance. Fans in the audience filmed the Kansas City Chiefs tight end briefly carrying Swift in the air so she could see the stage better.

Us Weekly reported on April 3 that Kelce and Swift were planning to attend the music festival. A source told the outlet that they would be “renting a house in the area” for one of the two weekends as “they both want to see [their friends] Lana Del Rey and [Jack Antonoff’s band] Bleachers.”

Following her weekend at Coachella, Swift has a big week ahead of her. The singer’s album The Tortured Poets Department comes out on Friday. She’ll return to her Eras Tour just weeks after for the European leg, which kicks off in Paris on May 9.

The singer spoke to Time in December about why she is comfortable being more public with her romance with Kelce than her previous relationships. “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she said. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”

She added that she is more comfortable leaving the house, despite the attention her fame attracts. “Over the years, I’ve learned I don’t have the time or bandwidth to get pressed about things that don’t matter,” she said. “Yes, if I go out to dinner, there’s going to be a whole chaotic situation outside the restaurant. But I still want to go to dinner with my friends.”

“Life is short,” she continued. “Have adventures. Me locking myself away in my house for a lot of years—I’ll never get that time back. I’m more trusting now than I was six years ago.”
