Taylor Swift’s dad, Scott Swift, joined his daughter at the Kansas City Chiefs-New England Patriots game in Foxborough on Sunday. He even wore one of her Chiefs sweatshirts from a Kansas City store to cheer on her boyfriend, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

It was the first time one of the singer’s parents has been seen at a Chiefs game since she and Kelce began dating over the summer. Swifties have waited for weeks to see the two families meet and were delighted to see Scott in chilly Massachusetts.

He was an enthusiastic fan, proudly pointing to his red Chiefs sweatshirt when he was shown on the stadium’s jumbotron.

“Scott Swift being travis kelce’s biggest fan. He loves his new bestie!” declared one Swiftie on X, formerly Twitter.

Scott Swift is actually a longtime Philadelphia Eagles fan who met Kelce for the first time last month in Argentina when his daughter performed there on her Eras Tour.

He made Philly fans angry when he wore a red Chiefs lanyard around his neck as he watched one of the Buenos Aires shows next to Kelce in a VIP tent.

That was the night Swift changed the lyrics to “Karma” and sang, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me.” Scott enthusiastically touched Kelce’s arm in an “atta boy” moment when he heard the lyrics.

After the show he was with Kelce backstage right before his daughter ran to the Chiefs player and kissed him, a momentous public display of affection now living forever on social media thanks to her fans.

On Sunday, Scott Swift sat in a Gillette Stadium suite with his daughter and Brittany Mahomes. Eagle-eyed fashionistas quickly recognized the vintage style of his sweatshirt.

It was similar to a ‘90s Chiefs sweatshirt his daughter wore from Kansas City’s The Westside Storey store to the Bills game last weekend at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

And, in fact, his sweatshirt came from the same store. The store posted the video of him pointing out the sweatshirt on an Instagram Story.

In October, the store at 1701 Summit St. received an online order from Swift’s marketing team Taylor Nation.

The buyer requested five vintage Kansas City Chiefs sweatshirts, each going for a couple hundred dollars.

Harrington and his girlfriend, Kathryn Cacho, had a hunch they had just sold the sweatshirts to Swift and got their confirmation when she showed up at Arrowhead wearing one.
