Trader Joe's Is Opening 20 New Stores—Here's Where
Trader Joe's is expanding its store portfolio once again. Over the last couple of months, the specialty grocery chain added several upcoming openings to its website, totaling 20 new confirmed locations.
The new stores include six locations in California, two in Virginia, two in Texas, two in Nevada, and one in Arizona, Oregon, Utah, Idaho, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. The grocery chain has yet to provide any opening dates, though all of the upcoming openings note, "Our Crew is working hard so we can open our doors in 2024."

In addition to the openings listed on its website, Trader Joe's also confirmed the addition of a few new stores. These will be in Murfreesboro, Tenn.; Forsyth County, GA; and in Boston's Bay Bay.

The Murfreesboro store will be off of Medical Center Parkway and Robert Rose Drive, according to documents from the planning commission. Jami Averwater, Murfreesboro City Councilwoman, told WKRN.com that the upcoming Tennessee location will open sometime in 2025.
The Back Bay store's sign was up at 500 Bolyston Street, according to Boston.com. Trader Joe's hasn't shared the exact date for when this new store will open.
Last week, the grocery chain opened a new location in Vancouver, Wash. The grocery chain currently operates more than 500 stores across 42 states and Washington, D.C.

In other Trader Joe's news, the grocery chain recently rolled out a range of new and returning items for spring. One new release that's been generating buzz is the Japanese Soufflé Cheesecake. Made with sweetened condensed milk and cream, this dessert comes in packages of two for $3.29.
