"Don’t sleep on the Apple Cinnamon Buns, folks," wrote u/TTTfromT in the Trader Joe's subreddit. "They’re made in Denmark and delicious. I had to force myself to share the second one and not eat them both myself. [They're] limited edition, too, so I gotta get my fill right now."

Indeed, the Danish-style Apple Cinnamon Buns at Trader Joe's — go figure — sourced from Denmark. The literally twisted treat includes a cinnamon apple compote and the pastry is topped with a light streusel-style crumb. A box of the buns, which includes two huge pastries, is $4.49.

Fans are already in love — even if they have yet to try the new Apple Cinnamon Buns at Trader Joe's.

"My jaw dropped at this," said one. "I'm gonna have to get."

"My GOD I can’t wait," wrote another. "[I] really hope they’re at my local TJ’s this weekend."

Many of those who have snagged the new limited-edition fall pastries say they taste better than they look.

"It’s criminal how delicious these are," noted one. "I just got them this morning, and I’m going back after work for more."

"I just got these today, too," said another. "I put it in the toaster oven, and I agree. I think this is the best pastry they have had."

"I just picked these up a few hours ago," wrote someone else. "Now I'm even more excited to try them. I figured I'd pop them in the air fryer and add a little vanilla ice cream."

Spoiler alert: You're going to love it.

"Put them in the air fryer with a little bit of butter on the top and then have some ice cream on it," advised an early fan.

"These are also amazing topped with a scoop of the maple ice cream," suggested another.

For some, the struggle to wait for the timer to ring is real.

"My partner and I have both eaten four of these in the past week," said a poster. "Only last night was I able to wait long enough to heat it in the air fryer for a couple of minutes. They are so good."

Delayed gratification has its perks, but not everyone's tastebuds are in knots over the new Apple Cinnamon Buns.

"The inside part is good, the bread part is average — kind of pricey too for what you get," one fan pointed out.

"They are...so bready and have that Hostess canned-apple-pie-filling vibe," wrote a critic. "I'm not expecting a pastry that competes with something made fresh at a bakery, but these were just fine and not that special IMO. Neither good enough nor bad enough (in a guilty pleasure sort of way) for me to go back for more."

"I bought them today and heated them in the oven," another poster said. "I thought they were good, not outstanding as some have said — a solid [seven]."

The naysayers' hard passes leave boxes for early and new fans alike, though. One Redditor has a different kind of buyer's remorse than the critics.

"I’m so mad I only got one pack!" they said.
