Tracee Ellis Ross Looks Jaw-Dropping in White at the Emmy Awards

Tracee Ellis Ross came out in a breathtaking dress for the 75th Emmy Awards.

The 51-year-old—who was tapped as a presenter ahead of the Hollywood ceremony held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, Calif.—opted for a crisp white look that popped against the backdrop. Her white top featured a faux turtleneck and nearly sleeveless cut while the matching skirt reached just above her ankles. Finally, Ross completed her look with gold heels, a red lip and coordinating earrings.

Fans couldn't get enough of the bright ensemble, with one fan noting on X (formerly Twitter), "Love it."

While Ross most recently appeared alongside Eddie Murphy in Prime Video’s holiday film Candy Cane Lane, fans were eagerly awaiting a black-ish reunion at the Emmys as Ross’ co-star and on-screen husband Anthony Anderson was named host for the 2023 ceremony, which was rescheduled to 2024 due to the SAG-AFTRA and writers' strikes..

Anderson previously opened up about his rocky start with Ellis during a chat with Los Angeles Magazine, noting that it all changed when they began working together and their on-screen “magic was undeniable."

“I would do anything for her today and I believe she would do the same for me," he said at the time.

Though she wasn’t up for any awards this time around, Ellis is no stranger to the award show circuit, having previously earned six nominations—five in the category of Outstanding Lead Actress In A Comedy Series as Rainbow Johnson, dating all the way back to 2016, and one for Outstanding Comedy Series, where she served as producer.
