Town of Palm Beach offices closed for Memorial Day; golf, tennis centers will be open

Town offices will be closed Monday in observance of the Memorial Day federal holiday.

No construction or landscaping work will be allowed, but some recreation facilities will be open, and lifeguards will staff town beaches from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Par 3 Golf Course will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and the Seaview Tennis Center will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. The Phipps Ocean Park Tennis Center and the Town Marina will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Mandel Recreation Center will be closed.

Residential garbage pickup will take place for residences on Kawama Lane/Chateaux Drive north to East Inlet Drive. No other residential garbage service will take place, but commercial garbage and recycling services will take place as usual.

There will be no yard trash collection Monday. Stash areas will be serviced from Tuesday through Friday.
