Tournament season is here, and there were some noteworthy performances for Athlete of the Week

More athlete of the week honors are up for grab this week.

Last week's winners were Tri-Valley's AJ Lawler, who totaled 1,070 votes, to earn the boys award over Coshocton's Colton Conkle with 875, while the girls honoree was New Lexington's Olivia Beaulieu, who had 660 votes, with Maysville's Leila Hawk in second at 476.

They join West Muskingum's Conner Hill, Carter Smith, Laney Johnson and Addy Antonetz, Maysville's Alex Bobb, and Kelsie Bryan, Philo's Aleigha Busse, Bailey Dement and Talan Bailey, Rosecrans' Grady Labishak and Abby Sagan, New Lexington's Tyson Spicer and Olivia Beaulieu, Tri-Valley's Kandice Spry, Morgan's Carson Mummey, River View's Colin Addy, Coshocton's Logan Lonsberry and Crooksville's Lexi Van Meter.

Boys

Jesiah Barnett, Cambridge, tallied 33 points in a win over rival Meadowbrook.

Raine Rodich, Sheridan, finished with 23 points in a loss to Chillicothe Unioto.

Hayden Walters, River View, made the game-winning 3 and had 18 points in a win against Crooksville.

Konlan McIntyre, Crooksville, had 42 points in losses to Belpre and River View.

Bentley Hanson, New Lexington, made the game-winning bucket at the buzzer in a win over Miami Trace.

Logan Niceswanger, Morgan, won another sectional title for the Raiders.

Cohen Bunting, John Glenn, led seven Muskie district qualifiers with a sectional title.

Dyllan Austin, Ridgewood, highlighted seven district qualifiers for the Generals.

Girls

Emily Jenkins, Rosecrans, had 16 points in a playoff loss to Steubenville Catholic Central.

Samantha Fiore, New Lexington, claimed the individual district bowling title with a 551 series.

Addy Antonetz, West Muskingum, drilled five 3s and scored 18 points in a win over Zanesville.

Cassidy Himes, Philo, tied for eighth in the Division II bowling district meet.

Mia Prince, New Lexington, won a pre-regional title to advance to regionals.

MacKenzie Harvey, Tri-Valley, made the game-winning, three-point play to down Grove City.

Ava Heller, Sheridan, tallied 21 points in a win over Jackson.
