Each week, we take a look at the scholastic boys' lacrosse scene and honor some of the best performances.

Olympic

Wes Canton, Moorestown. The freshman goalie stopped eight shots in a 9-7 win over St. Augustine on April 16 and stopped 12 in a 12-5 victory against Haddonfield on April 20. He’s made 57 saves in seven games this season.

Nick Marco, Rancocas Valley. The senior stuffed the stat sheet with a pair of three-goal and three-assist games, powering the Red Devils to wins over Cherry Hill West and Williamstown. The hat tricks were his first of the season and raised his team-leading goal total to 13 for the Red Devils.

Nick Senatore, West Deptford. The junior delivered 10 goals, seven assists and 26 ground balls as the Eagles went 2-1 with victories over Triton and Cedar Creek sandwiched around a loss to Williamstown. Senatore lifted his club-leading goal and assist total to 24.

SJILL

Robert Donahue, Woodstown. The junior continued his torrid scoring with a career-best 10 goals in an 18-5 victory over Oakcrest on Monday. He’s among the leading scorers in South Jersey with 47 tallies in nine games.

Jordan Foley, Williamstown. After a two-goal effort against Woodstown, the senior delivered back-to-back games with five goals against West Deptford and Rancocas Valley. Foley has accumulated 12 of his team-high 18 goals in his last three games.

Carson Wiley, Sterling. The freshman dished out a season-high seven assists during an 18-7 win over Timber Creek on April 19. He leads the club with 19 helpers and is second with 19 goals for the Silver Knights (4-1).

Burlington County Scholastic League

Ian Blue, Cinnaminson. The senior has tallied 10 goals, two assists and seven ground balls as the Pirates rattled off three straight wins over Moorestown Friends, Camden Catholic and Holy Cross to improve to 4-2.

Independent

Noah Plenn, St. Augustine. The senior strung together three straight hat tricks as the Hermits picked up wins against Gill-St.Bernard’s, Eastern and Ocean City. Plenn leads the team with 21 goals in eight games.

Cape-Atlantic

Liam Fox, St. Joseph. The freshman notched a hat trick in a 15-0 win over Vineland on Monday. Fox has scored three-or-more goals in a game four times this season and ranks second on the team with 17 goals.

Jackson Wastell, Absegami. With 11 goals, the junior helped Absegami construct a three-game winning streak with victories over Middle Township, Millville and Timber Creek. Wastell also registered nine ground balls over the stretch. He leads the team with 19 goals.
